Attorney
John graduated
from the University of Georgia in 1982 with an A.B. degree in History.
He continued his studies at the University of Georgia School of Law,
graduating in 1985.
John began his professional career in
Savannah, Georgia with Oliver, Maner & Gray, as an insurance
defense litigation attorney. Upon relocating to Middle Tennessee in
1989, he joined Denney, Lackey & Chernau, which later became
Chernau, Milam & Weiss. While with the prior firm, John handled
all aspects of real estate transactions, including sales, financing,
leasing, development. He also worked in entity formation and
administration, and bankruptcy and limited litigation matters.
In
1994, John founded John T. Cook, P.C., and its sister company,
Attorneys Title Company, Inc., now with a combined workforce of
attorneys and staff numbering 11.
Member of the Nashville Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association , American Bar Association, and State Bar of Georgia.
Admitted to practice law in Georgia in 1985 and Tennessee in 1989.
Areas of practice are Corporate Law and Real Estate Law.

| Jennifer L. Johnson
Attorney
Jennifer graduated
from David Lipscomb University in 1989 with a B.S. degree and received
her law degree from Nashville School of Law in 2004.
Prior to
joining John T. Cook, P.C., Jennifer worked as a Staff Attorney in the
commercial lending area with the firm Maynard, Cooper & Gale in
Birmingham, Alabama.
Member of the Tennessee Bar Association,
Nashville Bar Association, Lawyers Association for Women, Nashville
CREW (Commercial Real Estate for Women), and CABLE.
Admitted to practice law in 2004.
Area of practice is Real Estate Law.
